HOME International Education Center International Education Center

International Education Center (IEC), founded in 2005, provides International students with effective Korean language programs. It has regular courses and short term courses

The regular course curriculum is 24 weeks long, 720 hours in total. IEC has confidence that the quantity of its education during the 24 weeks is much more sufficient than that of any other one-year-long private language courses. This intensive course will be a strong foundation for students from abroad who lean Korean language in a short period of time, which is the attractive reason for them to choose Korea University of Media Arts. We have 4 professional instructors who have The Korean language teaching certificate issued by Korea Culture and Tourism Institute. They all have a rich experience in teaching International students.

The short term course occurs during both in summer vacation and winter vacation for 3 to 5 weeks. It usually covers TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) in a short period of time for the test takers.

Textbooks and teaching materials are some of the students’ favorite things about the course. They use the most famous textbooks for Korean learners. Furthermore, some textbooks are developed by instructors themselves, which are completely suitable for International students here at IEC.

The course also includes many kinds of Korean cultural filed trips to help students understand Korean culture and its life habits. Students learn Taekwondo, Korean traditional music and clothes, etc.

In order to encourage International students in learning, IEC has many kinds of scholarship benefits depending on their success and efforts.

The world is yours to discover, and International Education Center is there to help you in your journey.
